Whilst this isn't quite the word I would have used they are NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE SLIGHTEST on a diesel.  That is all.

Diesels don't use them because they don't have a throttle butterfly, gods man this is mechanics 101 stuff!

I know a few lads that have them on golfs, loses power and most of them sound shocking. Save your money fella

I had loads in mine, cleared them all out along with all the other crap and felt a difference, just need to fling the missus out aswell now! :P

Have to agree with that one same for the rest of the noise stuff.

lol, each to their own, wouldn't have worded it like others did but the general concensus is they're pointless on a diesel.  but everyone has different taste!
