The mrs started the car the other morning switched the climate on to which there was quite a large bang/snapping noise and now there an annoying rattle when the climate is on and the air flow doesn't seem as strong.

It's going into Skoda on Tuesday (on warranty I hope 62 plate)

Anyone else had this happen?

Hoping Skoda don't try and invent some story why it isn't a warranty job. Seem to be a lot if posts on here just lately where Skoda are trying to brush of warranty claims

Well £62 later faintree Skoda have sorted my Vrs out.

Pay and display ticket in the fan motor. Epic fail!!!!

That was an expensive parking ticket, probably would have been cheaper to have just had the fine! Good it is sorted though.

Had the same thing! horrible clicking noise as it span around!  was pricing up replacement vans till i pulled the dash apart and found the ticket in the fan. dated from the previous owner.

 

No idea how on earth it made its way down there though!

How would a ticket get in there?

Me and my mate found that it is very easy to drop a ticket down the gap between the bottom of the windscreen and the dash... may have worked its way back from there?
