So managed to pick up a polo sport interior off eBay for £90 today, will be collecting them sometime this week. Should look miles better being all black and look much more supportive!

Also may have brought something to up the power quite a bit

Fitted my new interior this week, the seats are much more supportive and I think they look miles better than my old interior (currently for sale if anyone's interested)

 

Also received my new turbo form George (gfwc) which is a gt1749v, not quite sure what is is exactly but Ive been told by George his pd100 estate was running 170bhp with it fitted so I think it's a pd130 but slightly different to fit the pd100 engine. First thing I did was clean it up as we were quiet at work, should be fitting in the next couple weeks with a egr delete kit from darkside and getting it mapped when I get paid

Haven't updated in a while but having to put fitting the turbo and remap on hold until the rest of the car is sorted and I have the money.

 

The last few weeks I've been busy working on the rear arches, rolling them, pulling them and repairing them due to when I started to roll one side the paint cracked off and revealed quite a bit of filler where it had been repaired in the past which I didn't know about and ended up splitting the arch.

 

I rolled and flared the arch to get them as far as I could before beating them to shape

The arch that had a load of filler in it split in the process so had to be welded up, grinded off and shaped

Both in primer ready for paint in the next week

 

Will be painting in the next week hopefully as I'm having a lot of help from someone at my work who does a lot of bodywork and we only get limted time in the workshop.

 

I have also sold my wheels and picked up a set of porsche d90's with 25mm adapters all round which I will be getting refurbed in a black chrome/ gun metal grey (still undecided) here's a couple pictures showing the camber which I added today with washers, hoping to get some 35mm adapters so the wheels will sit further out into the widened arches and lower it more all round so it sits better on the 16's

Looks great! Love the front end with the tinted fogs.

So finally got the arches painted and now running 45mm spacers. Took the helpers out the front to lower it more but still need to adjust the back and also fitted an egr delete from darkside

Should be at early edition this sunday, last year I didn't make it as my crash was on the way so hopefully this year will be better!
