Well can't believe my luck in the new year

 

Decided to check a clunking noise i recently had and found this.

 

 

 

So what to do

 

Get a spare lower spring(probably need both sides) , replace the whole lot with something else

 

KW V2's are not cheap

 

anyone got a spare set, or a cheap set to lend.......

i bought them 2 years ago but they were second hand then...

 

KW have a 2 year warranty....

That's typical that with warranties. Replacement springs won't be too bad for the wallet are they?

KW uk are K300 and I have used them before when I purchased some new rear platforms, bump stops and dust covers when refurbing the V2's. Not cheap though and KW will not replace springs foc.

The pot holes down where I am are all over the place, even my local Asda exit route has a huge crater...

The exit/entrance to the retail parks round here are ridiculous mate, swear people have lost whole cars  in some of them 

i'd beat the cad that sold them to you!

 

on a serious note, they do this a fair bit as you know, imperfections in the manufacturing process can cause issues.

Get a pair from kw, they sell spares/replacements, and will extend the life of your setup.

its not like you can get another set as good as this for anywhere near the money 2 new springs will cost.

Yeah , you wait till I get my hands on him ...........

 

Yep no way are these being ditched yet. They have loads of life left and still great condition after I refurbed them few years back.

 

I will get 2 new Main springs as they are the same in the V1,V2 and V3 

 

Has anyone got a spring with a part number on..........
