ProActive passenger protection error

Featured Replies

Hi, got my octavia III 1.6 TDI 4x4 estate 3 days ago. Today I got this error in the combi instrument under vehicle status:

LIMITED PROACTIVE PASSENGER PROTECT

The warning light is not lit.

I have not disabled the passenger airbag.

Any ideas whats wrong?

What does the owners manual say that message means?

It doesn really sau whats wrog, just that it comes if you turn off airbag and esp

Back to the dealers with it.

The owners manual says the message means there's a fault and you need to take it back to the dealers....... Don't really think anyone will be able to tell you more...

I will call the dealer tomorrow, thanks guys for your advise.

Personally speaking, asking advice on here is fine for most things, however when it comes to the safety of my family in the car, the dealer would be the first one I contact, I would then give an update in the forum to explain the error and the steps the dealer has taken to resolve the issue.

I've got an airbag error on mine too, so its booked into the dealers for next week

I see where you are coming from on this. But it is also true that there is far more collective experience and knowledge on this forum than you will find in any individual Skoda dealership.
