As above title - all gravy. This car is a smartphone on wheels. It's awesome.

 

I've read some of the problems on here regards the rattling passenger seat, washer filler cap and scratches to the black B pillars.

 

The washer filler cap is positioned just fine for filling - can't really see a problem. There's plenty of room to fill either side of the bonnet stay.

 

 

Looking at the height adjusters, mine have velcro looking pads between the seat and handle. Is this a post production fix to prevent the vibration?

 

 

I haven't taken any pics (yet) of the B pillars but they are black and shiny without scratches.

 

My glovebox is a perfect fit and as yet there are no rattles from the sunglass holder/ A pillar.

 

I haven't used the headlamp washers yet but will report on that at a later date.

 

Boot noise seems ok - we were 4 up last night on the M27 and there was no 'significant' noise. No noise either today into So'ton for a bit of shopping. Looking at the latest comments on the specific noise thread, we have yet to drive the car without anyone/ car seat in the back bench.

 

The car is in the garage (at home) until the Golf is sold - secretly keeping the mileage down. tee hee.

Looking at the piccy of the seat adjuster looks like a recent mod as mine built Sept 2013 hasn't got them. If they do start to rattle I now know how to mod thanks.
