Not sure if anyone is aware or not, I've certainly been aware of various threads for Superbs/Yeti/Octavis then when owners have electric folding mirrors it can be annoying to have to hold down the button for 5 seconds or more in order to fold the mirrors.  It would be better to just click the lock button as normal and then the mirrors would fold.

 

I understand this coding will change this to one press to work (certainly for MQB platform) not sure about others:

 

Select 09 (Central Elec)

Select 16  (Authorisation)

Enter Unlock Code 31347

Select 10 (Adaptation)

Choose (22) Access Control 2 Radio Spiegelanklappung Mode

 

Change options as per below:

 

Pretty sure not available/won't work for mkII, have to test.

 

Great for mkIII but isn't it default?

Default in UK on O3 Elegance.
