running issue's with video

Featured Replies

hi all

right got an odd issue and completely stumped basically have had my maf replaced and car is running smooth as so i know that won't be the fault. when you start the car it almost sounds like it's running on two cylinder's but will eventually sort itself out as the video will show but sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't.

only thing i can think of is either:

fuel pump/fuel filter but has been changed about 10000miles ago

coilpacks

spark plugs

if anyone can shed some light on it would be very grateful

thanks all

Looking at your exhaust you're running seriously rich

How's your MPG, any trouble starting at all ??

mpg wise seems ok better then it was due to maf have had average 41-42mpg motorway wise. it seems to start fine takes a little longer then normal but think that is just the cold weather but will start fine but as it settle's it does make some little popping sounds and calms. oh forgot to mention it is on stage 2 remap

I'm thinking temp sensor, car thinks it hot when cold or vice versa dumps/cuts fuel = runs like crap.

Have you got access to VCDS or Torque for android ??

not too sure if that tbh as i have had it changed when i went to clive's and it seems to come up ok and yes it is a genuine one

Yeah only can be a couple of things and cts is still one of them

Will 100% sort when your down in a few weeks
