Hi peeps I have just bought a 52 plate skoda octavia ambiante 1.9 tdi could anyone point me in the right direction in finding out the engine type (pb ???) and horse power, any replies are much appreciated

If you can get your VIN code, windscreen should start TMB

 

Only need the first 9 or so; it's 17 long,  to figure this out for you.

have a look under the boot carpet for a sticker or the owners manual (Big sticker on the inside of the cover) you're looking for ATD, AXR, AHF or ASV. The first two are 100PS, the latter two are 110PS.
