Ordered citigo elegance back in october & have been told by dealer it will be built last wk of jan 14. Its my first skoda, ffirstnew car (always bought 2nd hand) & thanks to this forum I know ive picked a great car !! Any ideas on when I will be able to finally drive it ? How long after build will it be in the uk ??

Mine is being built this week and I've been told that delivery takes between two and three weeks. I'm tempted to hang on for a 14 plate though.

Im also tempted to hold on for 14 plate buy cant wait ! Do skda have anyway of letting me track the car on line ?

My wifes 5 door 75 Elegance was ordered 19/11/13 and we've been given week 9 as a build date.

Expect mid march delivery.( Ermm  It's red as well. :think: )

Red is the best! although I do quite like black as well.

Mine will be black. Purely because I've never owned a black car before.

Unless you love cleaning cars, you won't want to again!

 

They do look awesome when they're clean though.

 

My missus's last 5 cars have all been black (as its the standard colour for her driving school)

 

They just included white cars, so she's gone for that colour now.

 

Same situation as the black, beautiful when clean, but hard to keep that way.

 

I will say it doesn't show drying streaks as bad as the black did though (thankfully)

 

Not trying to put anyone off that colour, because when the better weather comes, you can't beat a black or white car and likewise if your a keen car cleaner then there is not a problem

How long does the cartake to get built before shipping ?

Now been told my car has arrived in the uk how long dors it take to reach the dealership ?

Mine took just over a week.

We are expecting our red sport in a couple of weeks. I wonder how many 'new' members we'll have when the 14 plates are delivered shortly?

Not another red one,so common    ......silver rules   as it's easier to keep clean even though I still do it every week

Yellow ones are Hyper Fast, Intergalactically Super Fast

All I'd say is make sure you have a spare wheel :\
