Right every now and then when i start my car some times it feels like it dont wanna start once it has when i press throttle its abit hesitant then i turn it off then on it seems to be ok its hard to explain lol theres 2 codes stored 1 x lambda sensor from de cat and other is coolant temp sensor no other codes any help appreciated

Coolant sensors on these cars serve 2 functions, the first is to display temperature, but the second important function is to supply a feed to the ecu to control fueling. If your car is having incrrect signals fed to it, this is not going to help starting and running at all.

From your initial post, you do not make it clear whether the engine turns over ok and is difficult to start or if it is slow to turn as well. I presume the car has had its service items changed at the correct intervals for plugs and filters?.

If the car spins over ok, then I would sort the CTS  first - a word of advise on ths, it is a false economy on these to use an ebay special for this, as it is documented so many times on here of failures reall quickly from cheap sensors. Use either a VAG oem unit or a known good quality Bosch unit from TPS or a good motor factor.

Hope it helps

new plugs oil breather pipes gonna give it a new fuel filter i think and do oil pick up

I was going to say "Fault for coolant temp sender" - Answered your own problem in your own question there!

Lazy start could be as simple as loose or dirty battery terminals, check the simple stuff first.

battery terminals are all good i think it is the coolent temp sensor

Replace the CTS Genuine VAG only.

Check the +ve connection to the starter as if it's corroded or loose you'll get intermittent probs or slow cranking.
