Front Sway bar Link (Metal or Plastic)

Featured Replies

Hello guys

I have a 2002 Octavia L&K 1.8T AGU Engine  Chasis No.TMBAL41U928549849

I need to replace the front sway bar links

Can somebody help me with the correct part number I need for my car.

My car has the factory wheels with 205/55/16  tires and I just want a confortable ride. The links I have in the car are the factory plastic ones but I saw on ebay that they have these parts available also in metal too.

I found this part number: 1J0411315 and the only diference is that they have the same part number but ends with the letter C, G J and K.  I think the letters has somenthing to do in the size between the screw holes.

Please help me with the correct part for my car.

THX for your help

Thats what we call a drop link.  Is it the drop link itself or just the bush you are looking for? By the way. we normally call a sway bar an anti roll bar in the UK- if you search in the forums for Anti Roll Bar or ARB or FARB (Front Anti Roll Bar) you will find the part number you;re looking for I'm sure. I have the VRS version which has a different front end set up to the L&K

I finally order a US$ 17.oo kit that include the rubber bushings inserts for the Drop Links and the rubbers for the Anti Roll Bar.

I hope I made a good decision......... What you guys think?

I personally don't like to depress and repress small bushing like that because they don't have a metal support (outer ring) and they won't be as solid like an factory pressed link.
