ET 20?

Featured Replies

Buying new wheels et is 20 ... What do you guys think??

Will they fit,? I'm lowering in coilovers as low as these wheels will let me

What width? I think you're going to be pushing it with et20, will probably need lots of camber to tuck them under the arches.

Also the height is relevant here. It's a little different thing with 7,5x17" et20 and 9,5x19 et20 for example...

Et20

18"

8.5j

Highly unlikely without some serious camber.

Yes and the bigger problem is in the front as the camber is not adjustable in stock solution.

9j all around ?? Would they fit or would I need to pay the extra £50 to get 8j fronts

I'd pay £500 extra to get wheels that'll fit. 9J x ET30 I'd imagine is a no-go as well without some serious arch work.

I'm with daveyboy. Get wheels that will fit properly. I think with et20 the wheel would be close to your coilovers. I had this problem on my old clio. In the end I sold the wheels and bought the right et, so it would go lower.

Smaller et means that the wheel will be further from the coilovers. Bigger et and they will be closer.

If we are still talking about 18" they won't fit if 9" wide and et30.

You can make anything fit anything if you don't mind some work.

You could play safe and get the right et which is an easy option but if there's a certain look your after then do some homework before you make a purchase.

Work out what room you have to play with, how low you want to go etc
