Ok so I really want the remote locking function to work on my key.

When I bought the car it only had one key. Which had no batteries :(

I replaced the battery with a 2032. It's the two button non flip key.

Plugged the snap on diagnostics in and went into comfort systems then the key sync section. When it asks me to press a button on the remote for a second I try this and the red light flashes on the key but I get no audio or visual signal like I should.

Don't know where to go next! :S

Just one thread please

Have you tried using the fob to lock and unlock the car?

I had to sync a key during the week using the key in ignition and door lock method and didn't get any signals it had been done but when i went to use the fob it had sync to the car.

As bazhall says put key in ignition press lock car should lock and unlock in a second or so and job should be done.

The only other key I have is just a blade. No chip or immobiliser. It will bring the ignition on but won't start the car
