Bluetooth OBD Adapter in Superb

Having now found some other topics talking about OBD, people mention the ELM 327.

Would either of these be OK?

Still looking for info on where OBD port is in Superb. If it is near the footwell I might go for an adapter that does not stick out too far.

Also I read on another forum about OBD draining battery when plugged in by car off. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi,

don't know if it's related but after leaving an OBD Bluetooth adapter in the car my battery went completely flat.

I used this one http://iobd2.co.uk/ to stream data to my iPad

The port should be near the footwell, above the throttle pedal. Go down with a light to find it.

Thanks for reply. I will have to find the port location I think before buying an adapter.

If it is near the throttle then I might want a small OBD Adapter.

Do you knock yours when driving?
