Featured Replies

right as ya know i just replaced my coolant temp sensor now im getting code for o2 sensir this the lambda sensor ? can that cause car to run funny too

Aye, lamda is the same as 02 sensor. If it's goosed your engine will run really rich or really lean. Ecu uses the sensor to adjust fuelling

one thing after another with this car but i love the car lol so all decent parts

What code are you getting?, sometimes sai system not working will bring up no 1 lambda prob heating intermitent warning, as its supposed to flood engine with air forcing probe/cat to warm up faster.

found code 17511 and 16517

I would check the wiring in the connection

The code i was refering to is 17511, 16514, usually means the sensor is fubar, but also refers to wiring to it under the o/s floorpan.

sensors are such a ballache when they go wrong. A new lamda sensor definitely won't do you any harm and you need to check the entire loom for break so long probe voltmeter it is- depends which one you;re more comfortable doing first because it'll be either 1 or the other

Sorry, crossover on posts, with those 2 codes it is probably the sensor, but as Nerd said check the connector first, especially with all this water we have around at the moment.
