Hi All

 

I have a Fabia 1.9tdi Mk II 2008 and only one key.

 

The previous owner said he has the spare key but it will need to be coded. Not sure why if this is the spare key but can someone advise whether I can code the spare key myself and if so, the procedure?

 

Is it worth buying the spare key from the previous owner or can I buy one of Ebay?

To be honest, the spare key I received was already coded so I didn't have to. Lucky for me.

 

Just need to replace my batter which I will do later as the key unlocks the doors and starts the car.
