Yeti 2012 2.0 110ps 225 50 zr 17 tyre pressures

Featured Replies

Went to pick up my Yeti but it decided to flip a fault as it was driven out of the workshop.

Three and a half hours to trace and fix.

This means I have not managed to try the new 13 pin electrics with my caravan electrics yet

and to add insult to injury I cannot find tyre pressures anywhere .

Please could someone help out and give me the tyre pressures Solo and Loaded (for the caravan)

I wanted to be on the road at 6.00am tomorrow.

On my last Yeti with17" tyres, it was 32lb psi unloaded and +5lb (on the rear) with van/loaded. That is what I used when towing my van. From memory, I think the pressures are shown inside the fuel filler cap.

Ah! the fuel filler cap, probably the last place I would have looked.

Thank you very much.

They were in the fuel cap!

Full load 2.4 bar  3.0 bar

They are in the fuel cap on all Skodas I believe

Some logic- every time you re fuel you ought to be thinking about Tyre pressures?

That's rubbish! might as well be in Chinese. When I collected my Yeti I had to ask the salesman, as there was no PSI figure on the fuel cap. he didn't know & had to go into the workshop & ask. Why can't they put a PSI number on the flap?

Oh, & by the way,32PSI is the correct figure, as I was told.

32psi is 2.2 bar. 1 bar is equal to 14.5psi.

I believe its a standard unit across Europe, and metric of course, as opposed to pounds and inches. I do agree that psi is easier to work with and decipher though.

I can't remember buying a pump or pressure gauge in the last 15 years that didn't do both psi and bar. Its not exactly a new idea to use bar.

Not at all. It wouldn't be the first time someone has read 2.2 bar as 22 psi though!

Yes thats what I used Fred, we went up to Norfolk, CC Sandringham.

The Troll towed level with the Witter towbar and Alko Ball. Yeti tyres

at maximum load pressures. Solo handling was fine so I left them up,

while we toured around.
