I only got to see the episode with the M5 earlier today due to being away the day it was on. Whats the story with the fog lights on the A Class, I noticed that the front left wasn't working, then neither then the front right. I then noticed that the left or right one would come on when going around corners. They definitely looked like the fogs.

I noticed this too! Probably something to do with the legendary Mercedes build quality I can't think they were meant to be doing that

When I seen the left one not working I thought the bulb was gone, but it was definitely alternating to the side the car was turning, very strange.

i was confued too, only thing i could think was they were coming on to illuminate corners :confused:

Good i wasnt going mad when i saw this then! Yup noticed it as well!

I kind of assumed they were very "directional" lights that appear to be off unless you're looking directly at them.

'cos obviously a Merc wouldn't have busted lights

Perhaps there were fog banks on either side but not simultaneously. The Merc is such a clever car that it can decide which fog light to put on !

Come to think of it, there was no fog, therfore it must be an anti c>h>a>v measure so they dont dazzle other drivers when using them in non foggy conditions !!
