Ok is it a h8 bulb ?

Etka lists H8-12v-35w bulbs for boot option codes 8WD. 8WE. 8WR and 8WS. 

vRS bulbs are H16-12v-19w. Boot option codes 8WH, 8WB.

Does anyone happen to have a before and after picture of the foglights to allow me to compare the difference and see if it's a mod worth going for?

I've just ordered some....all the way from the UK. They would have to be an improvement.

It would be helpful (to me) if you would be good enough to take a before and after picture to see the difference.

 

Or better yet if you would be good enough to replace one side and take a picture with both foglights on to see a direct comparison.

Will do if I remember, based on previous experience it should be a big improvement. Only problem is if the light is tpo blue.

Could someone remove their bulbs from there mk3 vRS and confirm they are indeed H16 please? Both the inner and outer bulbs :-)

New bulbs installed, they are a LOT brighter than the originals. The colour doesn't quite match the xenon headlights, its more blue (at a guess 5000k). You can see a comparison of the original (left) and new (right).

Also included a picture of the LED bulbs which have a very large heat sink, next to the original bulbs. Got the LEDs from car-mod-shop
