Just bought some to fit in my vrs . So fed up of the grey seats getting dirty

Any fitting tips ? easiest ways?

And how much is a set of vrs seats worth ? They are in good nick I think 2 fag burns from former owner need a good clean !

Yer didn't know if there was any Easy way of doing it , easiest ways to get rear seats out ect

Not a clue what they are worth but I have no place to store them so indeed shot after I've got the Gtis fitted

Rears- just lift front then tilt forward for the bottom part and the backs pull the release catch tilt forward and then there's a catch you push with a screwdriver or a key in my case and then just slide out easy as it sounds

Fronts are 4 m10 or m12 spline bolts for each seat

That's brilliant ! I had a rough idea but that clears it up

If they are perfect (no burns or rips!) and clean set can be worth up to £150 which is what I got for mine, was not that far off new condition though

 

Unless you are prepared to give them some restoration of course they will be worth less than that

Il give them a clean before sale if I get £100 or so il be happy

eBay ! From vee-dub breakers Hopefully they are nice ! Only 2 crap pictures on the site but spoke to him and he said they are from a 20,000 mile car and mint , just need a clean

Great find, GTI seats are hard to find and often go for silly money. Have the res striped seatbelts off the GTI too, they may well fit!

 

For reference for others, GTI leather is also available but they're the holy grail of rare

 

 

Sport seats are far more obtainable, there's a set on ebay although these one's aren't cheap! They are well equipped though with height adjustment and drawers under each seat.

Yer payed £500 for mine so not cheep but I love the tartan, I'd like the belts aswell tie it all in a bit more but that will have to wait till another pay day ! The leather is nice ! I do like the sports seats just a little boring for me

Polo GT seats are also quite comfy and work well

 

Yep, all GT Polos are specced with the same sport trim as standard, although GTs are much rarer than sport models so for your searches best off using Sport.

Received my gti seats today good clean then get them in ! So happy with them

Fronts bolted straight in , rears I played with a little yes they are a straight fit but the bolsters are a slight bit smaller so I had to play with the Trim to fill the gap and alter the bolt down bit of the seat buckle to make them fit the gti seats

Very happy with them and seen more comfortable

Any free gifts in the under-seat drawers?
