Question for people running joms

Featured Replies

My car is on joms. It's all the way down at the front with the helpers in and the rear adjuster is sat level with the top. Fed up with the Mrs moaning it's bouncy so would removing the helper spring out of the front and winding it up so it's at the same height as now make it less bouncy or do I need to raise it slightly with the helpers in?

Was thinking of getting some lowering springs as I've still got my original shocks but they had done 100k so don't fancy using them again

I'm running joms without helpers all the way down and without adjusters in the back it's abit bouncey but my corsa without helpers was stupidly bouncey I'd say raise it up abit with helpers :)

Id raise it up. Im on joms without the rear adjuster and its attrocious. Im researching new suspension prospects at the moment as these joms are shagged anyway, adjuster rings are seized.

Joms have appaling damping anyway.

you sound like youre in exactly the same boat as me mate. Ive got my original shocks and might go for some 60/40 springs and have comfort back in my life

I will try raising it by about 10/15mm and see how it is. Don't want to go much higher than that. They don't bother me that much to be honest, yes they are abit bouncy on some roads but the way people moan when they go in my car you'd think they were sat on a trampoline!!
