Mrs Grr bought me one of these for christmas. 

Certainly adds a new dimension to gaming and very 

good quality sound.

It has a mix slider to get the balance between voice and game 

sound just right. 

Just to add to the OP, it's also rechargeable via

the same wire the controllers charge up with plugged direct 

into the PS3. 

If I didn't already have one I'd have bought this.

PS4 has had a firmware update and these now work on PS4.

 

Gonna leave the thread as they don't get used as much as they should really (there like new)

 

but in no rush to sell either.
