Could someone tell me where in the car I would find the diagnostic port?

 

I've had a quick look and can't seem to locate it.

Drivers foot well just above the bonnet release - it's purple.

There is no flap or cover. Open the driver's door fully, kneel down beside the car and look low down under the dash. You will then have a clear view of the port. I plug my VCDS interface into it by feel whilst sitting in the driver's seat.
