Need some of the superb loving..

Is it possible to buy a superb with full leather interior, 4x4 and a 2.0 tsi engine?

Less than 6 years old?

Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, but Superb II 2.0tsi had never had 4x4 version (only 1.8tsi and 2.0tdi).

2.0 TSI only ever available as front wheel drive DSG in the UK. Shame. 4x4 manual would have been nice.

ok so 1.8TSI 4x4 manual estate and full leather is possible then?

Seem to be rare as

thanks all, guess I'll keep waiting then

1.8TSI 4x4 Elegance is what you need. Not sure many were manual though.

You could always look at the v6, which is 4x4 as standard and only in Elegance trim and higher - but DSG only I think.

How much torque can the dsg box on the 1.8tsi cope with?

Also never driven an 'non-manual' box so worried gear changes are sluggish?

DSG box is so called 'robotized manual' box. So you cannot feel gear change as such (except that engine sound changes). And the gear changes are almost instant. But if you have driven only manual gearboxes (like me - for all my driving career of 20 years), so you better take the car for test drive.

I found little bit annoying when DSG puts car into 6th gear at 55 km/h and then engine struggles when car starts to go up hill and it takes some seconds for DSG to understand that car is in wrong gear. Also I do lot of engine braking, especially in winter. That's why I ordered steering wheel with shift paddles.

Hmm

Not sure how I feel about this. What is the name of the 'auto' box which leaves most of the decisions to the driver?

I most of automatic gearboxes you can have manual mode, when you choose the gears yourself.
