I have an analogue gauge. Unsure on what wire off the top of my head. On my gauge I ground the one then just poked the live wire in to the rear of the plug until I found the one that light up and worked with the dimmer. Once I found it I just spliced into the wire.

May have to do this and move it to my steering wheel surround if that one for a golf will fit. You got a pic of your gauge set up?

Some reason I can't find one fitted in my dash. It is all wired in but still haven't got round to plumbing it in, it's been in about 4 months now as well lol.

I have seen that before you made it yourself didn't you? Really want that steering column one now

Yer mate, my vents had all snapped so thought I would try it as it was broke anyway.
