Fabia vRS Estate 2013 - Fuse positions used

Featured Replies

Can someone send me a picture of their fuse layout on their Fabia 2013 (preferably a vRS). I removed one fuse and then forgot where I took it from. Looking at the owners manual I replaced it in one of two possible places and it didn't do anything so I put it in the other slot and again it didn't do anything!

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry i can not do a photo right now.    But i can look at one for about the next 10 minutes.

So what Fuse were you removing,  or thought you were moving?

I thought I was removing fuse 29 but then realised it could have been 27 (which is Telephone and is not on my car). But it didn't seem to make any difference if it was in or out of position 29 (which is an injector, cooling pump which I thought would be an important one).

Best picture while driving !!!!   Anyway sorry poor picture and a 2010 hatch, but with phone.

2010 Owners manual also has no. 27 Not assigned.

& as you say No. 29 Injection, Water Pump.

If it was fuse 29 then it will have been a 10A fuse. You won't have seen any effect as all that fuse 29 runs is the coolant recirculation pump which I think only kicks in when you've turned off a hot engine but I wouldn't run with it missing or blown.  I've had a look at the circuit diagrams for the 2013 VRS and they seem the same as my 2011.  Fuse 27 isn't connected and fuse 22 is the one for the telephone.

Hi PhilTheGeek

Thanks for that.. Can I ask where you found the circuit diagrams for the 2013 Fabia vRS as I have searched everywhere for a recent set?

Hi Phil

I have that piece of software but I haven't found many circuits in it and those that I have don't seem to relate to my car. I must be picking the wrong details within the first page of the Workshop manual section defining the vRS car. Can you tell me the model details of the vRS you select.

The one I had decided was the one was a Model 5425MD with a CTHE engine and an NQH Gearbox. If they are the same as your selection then I must have the information but just haven't found it yet.

Blast, my apologies.  I somehow must have selected wrong options. You are absolutely correct that the CTHE engine is missing at the moment. Most of the rest is available though.

Although it's a guess the fact that the latest ECU is listed as fitting both the CAVE and CTHE engines leads me to suspect that the wiring won't have changed.

Hi all,

Quick question. Yesterday I installed a aftermarket car radio. I connected it to fuse 27 (was already a blue switched power cable). Everything works. But what I don't understand, fuse 27 is for preinstallation telephone, but I don't have a OEM Carkit built-in. Now my question is, is it safe to use this fuse for my car radio (it's a Pioneer SPH-DA120 which also charges my phone)? O btw, it's a 15A fuse.
