Hi can anyone describe a bit more in detail how to activate the large MPH using vcds plz

Do you have an FL? Will only work if you do!

Try a search in this section or VCDS. There's a step-by-step guide about.

Follow that guide, but be VERY careful as it would appear you are unfamiliar with VCDS. If you select just one thing wrong along the way, or change something by mistake, then it is perfectly possible to totally mess up the computer or worse still end up with a car that will not start.  Anything using those boxes on the lower right of the VCDS screen can cause terminal damage to the car if not used correctly.

 

Also as mentioned earlier, if you have a pre facelift (even with maxidot) then the large MPH display is not possible.
