Brake caliber paint code?

Featured Replies

Does someone know the paint code for Pre-FL vRS red brake calibers? The green colour code i found with forum search, but not the red one. Going to change the front calibers and i want them to match with the original rear calibers.

Found this http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/Universal/Brake-caliper-special-paint-Skoda-RS-RED from another thread, but i don't want to order it from there.

Am i being too perfectionist and should instead of finding the original colour just buy some red paint and paint the rear calibers also?

I'd just go for one of the 125ml pots from Ebay (£7.50 ish)as that will be a close match and a more than ample amount to do all the calipers. Make sure you decrease them before painting though using something like carb cleaner as that really seems to do the job.

I thought the calipers come ready painted???

Sorry for the bad grammar. English is not my native language.

I'll try to find a local dealer for that Motip paint so i don't have to pay the shipping costs (in this case the shipping costs can be more than the pot costs) for the pot and not all seller's in Ebay post to my country even if i asked them to.

If you update your profile then other people will be able to see which country you are from and could maybe offer some closer help.
