PID Question

Featured Replies

Unlike other Bluetooth systems the PID does not 'automatically' log onto my phone. Firstly I have to press 'Phone'. Then I'm informed that no phone is connected. After responding to this instruction the PID lists the phones that have been Bluetooth enabled. I then have to press connection to phone 1 or 2 on the PID.

Its eems to be a long winded procedure. Is there a setting that connects automatically without going through this rigmarole?

Any suggestions most appreciated.

When pairing the phone to the PiD, did you do it on the phone or use the PiD?

Try deleting the phones from the unit and then pair them again from the PiD.

I had a similar problem with my normal Garmin satnav.

For some reason it didn't like being paired from my phone.

Did you select automatically connect to the device (PID) on your phone?
