Skoda 2 year Service Plan - Anyone got a deal.....

Featured Replies

Hello all, not a thread to debate the value of the 2 year service plan - I like doing my services annually :-)

However I'd be interested if anyone has been able to get the price down or any other freebies? It's £349 for two services, one MOT and one BFC - anyone done any better (and from which dealer ) recently..........???

Got 3 years free servicing when I ordered mine last November (in Ireland).  It wasn't tied to any finance package or anything like that.  I think it was just to get customers to order early.  Presume there are similar offers in UK.  It's limited to 45,000km (nearly 30K miles) however with no option to use the longer interval and you have to use the 15,000km interval. I do around 40k+ kms in a year so will use that up quick enough but still will save €500/600.  I'll switch to longer interval servicing after that

I paid £349 iirc last year.

Had one service + MOT.

One year left.

No special deals :-(

Ive just booked up for my 3rd and final free service. The 3 years free servicing has lasted 18 months. Going to get it put onto variable for my next one, hopefully I'll get a year between services then. I'd be interested to know if you can get any deals as I'm all for saving money.

Again not sure if this is available in UK and elsewhere but there is a loyalty programme in Ireland where you are issued with a Skoda card (similar to any loyalty card from a supermarket).  Each time you service your car at a Skoda dealer you earn points (up to 500 max).  You get deals on servicing and various accessories but more importantly you can redeem the points against the purchase of a new car.  I got €500 off my last car (points earned from three regular services).  Clever way to try and retain customers also.
