lookers skoda stockport pcp 0% anygood?

Featured Replies

Ive orderd a new skoda vrs in all red for 1st of march on a 14 plate. Anyone had experience with lookers who will share it with me. I have got the service maintenance and tyres package for 3 yrs with it aswell.

Congrats on the order I'm sure you will enjoy it!

Key question here is how much discount did they give you?

Only then can we judge if the deal or dealer is any good :-)

I go there up to now been very good the only thing that lets them down is they do not phone you back and  you have to pay £13.00 for a courtesy car admin charge

Well I didn't want to wait the 13 weeks wait for a factory order and im a man who likes his gadgets so I got a few extras with a that is available now its plain red with the silver wheels and the extras are:

Satnav

Digital climate control

Rear ew

Headlight washers

Heated seats

Under seat drawers

Digital radio

Vrs mats

Center arm rest

Parking sensors

I also got the gaurd X paint and fabric thrown in because I have a daughter and pepsi isnt the best on your seats and I have serivce, maintenence, and tyres over three years aswell.

Payments £100 deposit followed by 42x £281.00 then a final payment of £6703. My finance got accepted today just wanted to know befote I sign my life away it is a good deal? Thanks ps: I will be getting the roof Wrapped and wheels Sprayed black (privately)

Fully speced up car, very nice.  Good find.

They must have been biting their nails thinking they would be left sitting with it.

Do you intend buying it after 3 1/2  years and keeping it.?

Would you not be better putitng the Silver Wheels aside and getting a set of Black Wheels on, incase you do not keep the car.

Enjoy.

PS,

have they gone over those figures, because to me they look too good to be true, How much are they putting in?

but i am not that familiar with PCP.

What mileage is that based on?

Is £18605 a good deal for a VRS?  I suppose with all those extras it is.

Key thing on PCP is are you happy with the payment and the mimimum value at the end (your final payment).

No initial Outlay.

Only £100 deposit and hire a car for 3 1/2 years for £3400 a year,  (£9.35 a day.)

thats the sort of Depreciation you would maybe get if

you went and bought a car and kept it for under 4 years.

Only £100 deposit only. And 10,000 per year ive quoted. I got the service package as I dont have to worry about tyres or brake pads as its in with the smt packages. I rang up the same bloke about 2 weeks ago he got me a good deal but was unsure if it was the car I wanted but yesterday I rang him again and said if he got my a deal I couldn't refused id put a deposit now. After speaking to his manager he came up with this.

Mines from lookers stockport. I cant comment on pcp as mine was a cash buy, but i can comment on the dealer themselves.

Theyve always been very helpful from the offset and i had no complaints until a few months or so ago.

My wingmirror adjustment knob thing fell off. I took it straight down to find 'gavin' just blaming it on me being too rough. However after telling the proper skoda warranty man that its not fit for purpose and shouldnt do that at 4k miles, it must have been a manufacturering defect. He then agreed no problem and did it under warranty.

In the future, i wont be avoiding the dealer, ill just be avoiding Gavin if i have any issues, as he did cause me to get abit annoyed that day haha.

Other than that though, no problem and highly recommended. Always seem happy to help. Iv booked my 1 year service in with them too.

So when do you collect the car, Registered pre March?

He told me 1st of march on the new reg.

I just did that car on the Skoda Configurator, and it was a £19,300 without Sat Nav.

I would be double checking what your are being Quoted.

  • Author

I will be double checking but if it is what they say it is surely its good deal? What other charges could the put in. And there the figures he gave me to the pence so surely cant be changed..... can it?

Yes it can if someone has done the figures wrong, or someone walks in and wants to buy that car .

Odd for a dealer to spec a build on a car  to that level with Solid Red Paint and Silver wheels.   Well just IMO

Just check to be safe.

& ask if the X Guard is being done in the Front and Rear, not just in the Front.

It was already made with all specs probs someone put a deposit and canceled as they couldn't be botherd waiting on factory order. At the moment im driving a vaxhall 7 seater so excited for the 1st of march. Hopefully it is what they say it is or I wont be buying it. I did the deal over the phone yesterday so im going collecting paperwork to see if he is true to his word. The also had a silver 1 with black wheels they could get but didnt have the satnav or digital climate.

So in real terms maybe £1k off due to it being a stock car essentially. Which seems pretty good to me (with the 0%).

Have fun with it.

The White 63 plate they have advertised with 100 miles on it looks like it could be a real bargain for someone.

Cash Money would get the Asking price even lower i would hope.

If you wanted a sort of but missing a couple of extra's from your deal comparison on the deal I got...
Payments £500 deposit followed by 36x £249.00 then a final payment of £6720 based on PCP 10000pa

0% APR and 3 years servicing

Steel Grey
Chrome Alloys
Grey cloth on seats
Carpet mats
Rear Electric Windows
Parking Sensors
Cruise Control
Bluetooth
Third Head Rest
Arm rest
Spare Wheel

Well I rang today and I got to go and collect my order form and im checking all the details and prices. He also said another extra "a hardrive" to store music on i looked on the skoda config website and didn't see such option.

Got the paperwork today through email today. Can anyone tell me how much service maintenance and tyres cost are for 3 years?

I think you have to ask the dealer as for the 1.2 12v 60ps is £109 a month but if you want SMT its £139 pm so £30 more

  • Author

Yes i checked Its £30 a month. Bargain. So basically im getting my car £251+£30 for smt I was paying £253+£17 for service for a limited edition cdti corsa so i gotta bargain haha

How long is the finance over.

It's £360 a year for the SMT package, would a yearly service cost that much and would you normally fit new tyres yearly as well.

  • Author

Over 42 gaz. He sorted it all out as 1 package plus he threw in a few bits. Nice bloke tbh. The skoda in warrington rang me today to see how I got on. I told them the deal by pence but still told me they could do it for 294+30 a month but it didn't have the heated seats but it had a blackroof So I refused nicely!

What is the deal with the Tyres, is it just replacement of Accidental Damaged, or replacing worn out tyres?
