sorry i forgot about the miles its 69k

Sounds ok to me, LOADS of car for that sort of money!

Have my 130 for a few weeks now,, and loving it  , the comfort on an extended run is unreal, hi and welcome to the club :D

  • 2 weeks later...

I have now driven it to Aviemore and back (130 miles each way) and I got out both times limber and ready for action. It is comfortable. quick and wonderful. It holds its own on the M8 in the morning if I need it to and it is easy to park, contrary to my expectations, probably due to the sensors. The cruise control keeps me at the right speed and I just ignore the boy racers and drivers of inferior cars made in Germany as they race by.

Makes me wonder what I would get for my 03 pd130 Comfort, immaculate inside and out and only 16k on the clock :(

I'll give you a monkey.........and two rabbits ;)

welcome to the Superb club, got mine now about 5 weeks,, LOVE it  , but not getting the mpg l thought l would,, still better than my Octy vRS, but not as good as l hoped it would be,, but maybe my engine is still a little tight at 3,300 km, other than that,, the car is WOW :D ,everything l want and more. OH and welcome to the forum also

:D

So what mileage are you getting? Calculating each tank, my first one got 45.6mpg and the second (when I had the bike rack on top for the whole time) I got 43.8mpg. The engine may indeed be a bit tight at just over 1400 miles and I hope it will improve. It's still enough of a saving to make it cheaper on fuel even than my Nissan Almera 1.5 litre petrol powered car, which was not bad at about 40mpg depending on the running. Note that I liked the Nissan enough to be selling it on at a knock down price to my daughter when she returns to Scotland from her travels.

Welcome to the site :wavey:

Hope you enjoy the banter and get any advice you need.
