Can anyone recommend a micro USB charging cable that has a slimline connector at the micro end?

 

The trouble I'm having is that it seems the majority of cables have a chunky plastic housing around the micro end that won't fit into my Nexus 5 if it's got a case on (which it does have pretty much all the time). The one that came with the phone is great - nice and slimline and plugs in no problem even with the case on - but that lives at home and I need another one for work

Just get another genuine lead from eBay. I haven't seen any others as slim.

I had this problem with my camera, and just applied a stanley knife to the plastic on the plug.

Hi. I  can use a Kindle usb on my Nexus 7 when its in the case . Might be worth having a look

Have a look in POUNDWORLD. My Vody cheapo smartphone look alike uses a micro usb connector for PC connection and charging. Cost -yep -it's 100 new pence.

Samsung chargers are pretty thin. I use one on my Nexus 7
