Another Longlife Oil

Featured Replies

In my local car supplies emporium the other day I spotted a Comma oil for the VAG variable service regimes. Says on the container it meets VW 503.00, 506.00 and 506.01 requirements. AFAIK Comma are a long established small British firm who are strong on supporting enthusiast motorsport. They don't seem to spend much on national advertising which is perhaps why 5 litres of their longlife was priced at

Is it Comma Long Life 0W-30 (Fully Synthetic)? Looking at Comma's site here, they don't appear to do a 505.01 for the Fabia vRS.

PS: This oil has been added to the list in the FAQ below:

Can somebody please explain the basics of varible servicing.I have an 02 plate 4x4 hatch ARX 1.8t engine and the sevice indicator has just come on after one years ownership. I really want to know if I can change service intervals and how this is achieved and also the plus and minus's of doing this.
