My 58 Octavia VRS rear wiper keeps acting the fool, engage reverse and it wipes, squirt and wash wipe okay, then all of a sudden it will stop, then like magic it will go again. Is this a crazy Skoda problem or only my Skoda problem.

so its common amongst Octavia's is there a fix any ideas.

Massive fault from what I have read on here. Rear washer comes through the metal wiper so not a clever design.

I stripped my motor down and checked for washer fluid etc, but there was no sign of anything leaking/rusting/worn/sticking brushes, in fact it was perfect. Works perfectly then now and again throws a fit which I ignore and it starts working again.

I got same problem on my 2007 vRS wiper works fine for few weeks and all of a sudden stops in a middle of window but if i turn the car off and on again it works fine ( sometimes )
