I am hoping it's an unrelated issue but yesterday evening I hit a grande pot hole at approx 20-25mph 

 

The car drives straight and there is no vibration at speed but this evening I noticed that there is a rubbing/grinding on full lock (both ways)... Could it be related or is it more likely to be backplate rubbing?

 

 

 

 

Just in case the pothole is to blame take photos and register on line with local council highways dept,it may have already been reported and council may not have take action..............
