Hi,

 

I placed an order for an Octavia vRS in December but with the all the delays and massive lead times, I am considering cancelling my order and getting a Superb instead, but I do rather like the 19" Extreme alloys. Can anyone tell me if they will be a straight fit?.

 

I know they are a PCD 112, but what I have looked up varies on the offset, some say 47?

Yes I think its 47 alright but not 100% certain.  What do have on the vRS?  They will probably fit but the ride will be firm to say the least.  I have 225/40/18 and definitely wouldn't go any higher.  I've already damaged a tyre and had to get tracking done after only 3,500kms but having said that I do like the look!  Depends on the type of driving and roads I suppose.  Also suspension set-up/calibration and insurance considerations possibly.  I have seen 19" and they do look a bit big but would be distinctive of course.  What spec Superb are you looking at?

I have 18" on my current MKII vRS. As for the Superb am thinking either Elegance or L&K.

That's true about those  springs alright!  The 18s on the L&K look well and are unique as they are generally not available on the other models.  Now 19s on an L&K would be very unique!! L&K may cost a bit more but the extras do make it that more distinctive over the elegance.
