I use Greenlight and Brentacre for my modded cars and they are very reasonable. However, I will be 30 next week and had a licence for 12 and 1/2 years without any major incident. At 18, I think your're lucky to even get a quote on a 180bhp car tbh. Good luck though.

Don't think your gunna get a decent quote on that. At 18 I was paying £1200 on a 1.2 clio.

Best quote ive had it 2,219 on a 1.4 diesel polo..

Good luck. I'd have checked this out before buying the car tbh, wil be gobsmacked if you can get the quote much better than that.

Best bet is keep phoning round but gotta side with the kiscix and would have checked out the price before buying. Try adding someone older as an additional driver (who will drive it obviously) as this can help I believe.  Each company have their own target market and vary their prices regularly so keep on dialling!
