Can I fit something 201cm x 61cm x 4cm in a Mk2 Oct Hatch ?

Featured Replies

My car is 150 miles away so I can't measure it.

WIll it fit or will I need a van ?

Just me in the car so I can play around with position of the other seats.

Well the answer is yes !

Took the rear seat bases out. Folded the rear seats down.

Put the passenger seat all the forward and adjusted the back rest to be all the way forward too.

Went in at an angle no problem at all.

Had loads of other stuff in there too so it was high enough to clear the edge of the centre console.

You can fit an amazing amount of stuff in this thing !

400 miles later, job done !

yup...I've done it with 209 cm, as described above - removing rear seat base, fold flat and front seat all the way forward.
