Driving car this afternoon, playing music...

got out , got back in after 30 mins later

no display on Bolero..

pushed the on/off button blank screen..!!

Call Skoda told me to bring it in later this week to have a look..

got back in after lunch,  pressed the button half dozen times came back on.... !!

Working ok now.. button faulty and only 4 weeks old..

Has anyone else had this..???

Mine went off once while I was driving, came back on a couple of minutes later and has been fine since.

Mine has done that twice now. It also takes a little while to come back on after playing through the USB sometimes. I'll get it looked at when I get a moment

There is an option to blank the display and when you move your near it should reactivate.

Could be a software glitch.

Mine went of black screen and wouldn't turn on until key was removed then happened again but with screen on and no sound. Car went in for a few bits and they said software just needed updating

Yes problem with the Bolero radio is fixed with an update. Takes 10 minutes and its free.

It booked in tomorrow, Is it worth going to Skoda to check it or leave it till it happens again as its a 40 mile round trip..??

If I were you I'd wait for it to happen again before taking it in

I'm planning on getting mine sorted when I know that I'm in the area.  For me, it's not too drastic to need an immediate fix.

My Bolero froze a few weeks ago for 5 minutes then blanked out a few days later and now it seems ok again. Im waiting on an updated part which is on back order, some sort of module apparently but it's not arrived at dealers yet. Skoda know about it but aren't recalling only fixing when they stop working properly.

Driving mode select button forces display back on again. Mine did this, pressed this and came right back on again.

 

Hasn't done it since then!

Mine did it last Friday when I selected reverse, didn't correct itself until I selected reverse again 3- miles later.

I gather it's a known fault...
