How's this for servicing value?

Featured Replies

Had my TDI CR vRS serviced today (3rd variable), winter wheels off and alloys back on with my new (supplied by me) tyres fitted to 2 wheels, wash, vacum and a courtesy car for £151. I think that is fantastic value from a main dealer, and great service as well.

Sounds like very good value to me. I had similar with my wife's Citigo 1st service for something like £79.00 all in.

Off to my main dealer tomorrow to get a free wash and VAC on the vRS and book in its second or third service :) let's see what they quote me.

There was a thick frost here this morning!

Mind you, 11°C during the day.....

I've yet to see any snow at all so far this year but remember that in 2013 the winter tyres only came off at the start of April.

£151 sounds like a bargain. I'm due my third variable next month and IIRC I've been quoted £249 for it.

Who's the dealer?

Sarge.

Might be a bit far for you to travel Sarge; Prestons in London.

Perhaps a bit far.... but I am getting mine done at ALS Autos near Ely, Cambs. when I'm visiting my brother. So it wouldn't be that much further!
