For interest I shall post a link of a photo that shows the interior of a Skoda Fabia estate variant which was involved in a smash.

The exterior photo shows the extent of the crash which show the crumple zone effectiveness. Seems the rest of the body does not appear too distorted.

Lets hope no-one we know experiences this first hand.

Interior shot is interesting as I've alwasy wondered how the passenger side dash-airbags come out. It all seems so well put together that I couldn't tell where the bag would pop out from.

BTW - It doesn't look like a VERY high speed crash - perhaps into a tree at 20mph? or less?

Happened early May ON THE DAY I PAID THE FINAL LOAN INSTALMENT!

Still got the burn from the airbag.

Mark - I believe that's called "Sod's Law" - I've been a victim of it's tendancies on occasions. It looks lik the bodywork, that I can see, got off fairly lightly...?

T'was a blessing in disguise.

It marked the end of the Vario (written off!) and the start of the vRS
