Featured Replies

My dealer called today, my car has landed with them.  I booked an appointment to sign all the paperwork and took a sneaky peek at it in their yard before it get's its PDI tomorrow.

Most importantly appointment made to collect at 10.00 on Saturday.  Just arranged my free 7 day insurance so I'm all ready to go now.

Of course there will be pics!!

Options wise it's got Black pack, Sunset Glass, Winter Pack (heated seats, heated windscreen and nozzles), Canton, Colour Maxidot and probably more i've forgotten.

Gratz,

same here, at dealers and have seen it, just waiting for sat now, beginning to get a little excited

What amazed me was mine was built week 7 and by the end of week 8 it was at dealers, why couldn't they build cars this fast!

Just seen mine this morning out on the road, probably on its way for fuel, unless hes had a better offer for it and sold it,going round there this afternoon to do all the paperwork,so on sat I can just drop off my mk2 and hop in for a nice drive to north wales, cant wait now after 6 months

CONGRATULATIONS!!! And fingers crossed for the little one. I'm sure he will be ok.

Am close to both myself. New VRS on Tuesday and baby very very soon...

So two things happened today, one was planned and one was not.

Car was picked up at 10am as planned but the Mrs (who is 38 weeks pregnant) didn't feel well so we went to the hospital.  To cut a long story short my baby son (number 2) was born by emergency c-section at 18.19 this evening.  Unfortunately he has breathing problems and was taken away almost immediately onto the special care unit.  I finally managed to see him at 21.45 and the good news is it looks like he's doing well, not out the woods yet, but doing well.  If he continues to improve at the rate he has over the last few hours he maybe able to be released from special care in a few days.

Them SCBU look scarey but, the staff are fantastic so, don't worry and on the upside they cold feed formular so, you ain't gonna have the PITA of warming milk up when he comes home and Mum can get some much needed sleep.

Enjoy the car too.

Regards

T

Congrats on the birth of your son. New cars are nice, but having kids puts the cars importance into perspective.

A few rounds of baby puke should bed the Octy in nicely.

Congrats on both your new arrivals, and wishing No 2 all the best for a speedy recovery and he'll be looking forward to his first trip in the new vRS.

Congratulations!

I'm sure like the rest of us, you were counting down the days until you took delivery of the vRS; but I imagine now it has paled into insignificance somewhat following the special delivery!
