I have recently had a new boot lid fitted to my superb hatchback thanks to a rear end shunt.  All of the catches and buttons seem to work well but the locking mechanism on the off side pulls down a little too far.  The claw does not fully engage on the pin.  Could this be a problem for the future or can the position be adjusted. I am very new to this forum but would really appreciate any help or advice.
