Will Cupra R Lowering Springs Fit a Octy Vrs?..

Featured Replies

Hi :hi:

Ive got a set of Apex 30MM lowering springs that i bought for my Cupra R last year.. i was told thewy would fit an Octavia Vrs and all the rest of the mk4 platformers... Is this true..

Ive already got 35MM springs on my car but would be handy to know if they would fit..

Thans

They'll fit but whether they are the right poundage is another matter, Octy has a heavier backend I would imagine

Well they will defo fit.

but need to consider :

They may not be correct poundage as Octy is heavier at back end.

The lowering may not equal 35mm as the VRS may use longer or shorter springs. For example the VRS is 25mm lower than a none VRS Octavia model.

Pretty stiff squeezing between with your hands is not the same dude......

does that sound right even............... :giggle:

Sounds wrong in every possible way lol

But i know what your saying.. im guessing they are better off to be fitted to something like a mk4 with the similar weight..

They are better off being fitted to a Cupra R for obvious reasons !!
