You're right! I didn't realize it was a clip, sorry.

 

And mine doesn't do that, the heated screen doesn't come on automatically. I need to try again, since it's colder today.

Remember reading about another forum member quite some while back with the same issue but I think they had a Superb II; believe they ended up having to have a new screen.

 

On the previous Yeti there didn't appear to be a split into two septate elements as on the Octy but the clearing time seemed slightly slower.

 

 

Anyway hope you get it fixed.
