TIP cleaning?

Featured Replies

Ive just replaced a shot PCV and have found my TIP has an internal coating of oil.

How can i clean it?

Its the standard inlet pipe & i dont have funds at the minute to get a silicone 1

I doubt it's doing any harm mate. If you really want to clean it just use any rubber safe cleaner and a rag but make sure it's dry first as some cleaners may give off some fumes

On a quick run car feels loads better but still had odd lil hiccup so was thinking it might be the oil.

Il let it run a bit and see how i go

It will be fine i wouldnt worry about it

Brake cleaner will work perfectly
