2014 Yeti Outdoor 1.2 TSI SE beats new Qashqai

Featured Replies

Can't upload photos of the article from my iPhone. But the latest Auto Express has the 1.2 TSI SE vs the 2014 QQ 1.2 Dig-T Acenta Premium and Vauxhall Mokka 1.4 T Exclusiv.

It was a close run. Saying the Yeti is not quite as clean as it's rivals, but it's more practical, better to drive and better value!

Apologies if abp

I've just read the test. It's good to see the yeti back on top. In previous group tests they always use the 1.6 tdi greenline which is fine but against the current competition it was always gonna be tough. If they'd group tested the 1.2 previously I think it would have blown the opposition away every time. I see the next issue is a history of skoda Special. Can't wait. ????

Had a look today at the Outdoor, a Quashqui (2014) and Mitsubishi ASX.

Quite liked the non Skoda one's but come across a probable dealbreaker....

Both the Quash and the ASX had poor headroom in front and back for me (just 6 feet too)!!

Head touching roof and both had no height adjuster for passenger seat ...even top of range.

Liked the trim levels/value of the ASX..lots of toys (Camera, Leather, Sat Nav).

Top of range 2.2 Diesel Auto around £23.5k Both just a tad bigger than the Yeti to warrant a look.

Still not found a good upgrade to the Yeti unless getting much closer to £30k.

i believe the ASX has a 9k service regime?

dohhhhhhhhhhh double post sorry

The latest What Car compares the 1.2 SE Outdoor Yeti, the new Ford mini-SUV, a Renault Captur and the Mitsibushi ASX. The Yeti came a respectable...........1st of course!
