Hi my vrs was boosting to 22 psi max however just fitted turbo bk system with decat now it's hitting 26 psi is this to much???

Any other mods?

Cai custom code phase 1 Jbs map then the full system oh and sfs oversize tip

Mine spins about 22psi then settles n holds about 16 iirc

26psi popped my ko4 thingy on my mk2 golf tho

Yes but that will give you an idea of the levels which have caused problems.

Those pressures where exactly the same as mine before the decat I've gain about 4 psi that I didn't want lol

I no wish I hadn't of botherd now lol I ain't got the money for a new map at mo so that's out the question is there anyway of lowering boost other than a new map???

It's bin kickin out 22 psi max for 50k and it's bin fine but the extra 4 psi from decat it ain't gonna handle that I don't think

Loosen a pipe clamp somewhere . It's easy to lose boost on the 1.8t there are so many pipes..

If you want to run low boost until you can get map changed just disconnect the n75, I think that will so it failing that pull the MAF.

If I disconnect n75 it will run actuator pressure?

Looks like I'm gonna have to try get the money together for a map the annoying thing is I'm a Fmic away from stage 2

Any one no the best place for a map around Southampton I'm ariginaly from Leicester where rtec are but it's 150 miles from Southampton so could do with somewhere closer any ideas people???

Best to speak to RTech and get them to recommend one of their supported mappers, or just go for the jolly up to see them. Maybe even get them to do the fmic and a nice stage2
